James Redd (born October 1, 1942) is a former American football player, coach, and college athletics administrator in the United States. He was the 14th head football coach for the Northwest Missouri State University Bearcats located in Maryville, Missouri and he held that position for seven seasons, from 1976 until 1982. His career coaching record at Northwest Missouri State was 29 wins, 42 losses, and 2 ties. As of completion of the 2007 season, this ranks him fifth at Northwest Missouri State in total wins and 11th at Northwest Missouri State in winning percentage.[1]
